Storyloom respects authors and rights holders. A creation checkbox is a recorded declaration, not proof of ownership and not permission to use someone else’s work.
Before uploading
You must be the creator, use a public-domain work, hold an applicable licence, or be authorised by the rights holder. Permission to read a book privately does not necessarily include permission to transform or publish it.
Report infringement
Use “Report this story” beside the relevant public work or email hi@emadev.co. Identify the protected work, exact Storyloom URL and material concerned, explain why the use is unauthorised, provide your name and email, and confirm that the report is accurate and submitted in good faith.
Review and action
A sufficiently specific report automatically hides the story as a temporary precaution. Emanuele Pavanello then reviews it manually and may request supporting information, remove or restore material, restrict repeat infringers, and preserve the decision record. The reporter and creator receive the decision when valid contact details are available.
Do not misuse reports
Knowingly false or abusive reports may lead to restriction. Copyright exceptions differ by jurisdiction; reports and responses are assessed on the available facts rather than automatically accepted.
